The pilot Shabtai Gilboa (87), who modeled for the poster "The Best for Pilots" 1962 by the Shamir brothers, passed away. Gilboa finished his service in the Air Force with the rank of colonel and moved to El Al as captain. Nov 2021

This poster appeared on the Farkash Gallery's website in their recent "Vintage Israeli Posters" sale announcement. While it doesn't seem to carry a Shamir signature, Farkash lists it as being by the Shamir brothers.
1961 Assis poster

David Sela, editor of the Nostalgia website, recently found an Assis poster in the National Library collection. The poster is almost certainly by the Shamir brothers since the typography on the poster is identical to that on a 1961 Shamir ad for the same soup.
