Emblems

In the past we would differentiate between an Emblem and a Logo. The emblem was a realistic form, stylized or abstract designed by the graphic designer. The logo would be based on the name of the company or organization represented in a style (font) of letters invented by the designer or developed from an existing style.

Today - both are called logo. The Hebrew word invented for logo is סמליל.
In this section we have collected well knows logos as well as some less famous ones for a variety of organizations - all designed by Shamir. We are still looking for additional logos designed by Shamir Brothers.
