The Shamir Brothers did not leave a complete collection of all their works. Each left only a partial set of their works. Maxim Shamir left in his estate an almost complete collection of the Shamir designed postage stamps from 17 countries. This comprised primarily of the printed stamps and their souvenir sheets. The collection did not include First Day Covers or any other stamp related items. He left very few other works. Gavriel Shamir's estate included a partial collection of stamps and a large number of Shamir designed posters, medals, packaging and Logos. Many Shamir works are held in public collections: The National Archive, The National Library, The Central Zionist Archive, The Lavon Institute, The Jabotinsky Institute, The Israeli Labour Party (Moshe Sharet) Archive, The Mehlmann Library at the University of Tel Aviv, The Judaica Collection at Widener Library Harvard University, The Post Office Museum, The Coins Pavilion of the Eretz Israel Museum, The Bank of Israel, The Israeli Philatelic Service Archive, The Israeli Defence Forces Archive, The Tel Aviv Municipality Archive, The Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra Archive etc. Shamir works can also be found in private collections: Micha Reiss Collection, Zionism 2000 Collection (Roni Duek), David Tartakover Collection, Wissotzkyi Archive (Shalom Seidler), and the collection of Shamir family members etc. The most complete collection of Shamir Brother works, before the creation of the Shamir-Brothers.com web-site, was the digital collection assembled by the Shenkar Institute for Research and Documentation of Graphic Art in Israel. In the first five years of this collection access was only available to staff and students of the institute. At the beginning of 2012 access to the Shenkar collection was made available to the general public on the web. The new Shamir-Brothers.com web-site was opened early 2013. Many other web-sites also display Shamir Brothers works which are occasionally accredited to them but often without any accreditation. These web-sites include the web-sites of: The Palestine poster Archive Project, The Labour Party, Israel Bank, Israeli Philatelic Services, Israel Coins & Medals Corp. etc. Shamir Brothers works can also be found being offered for sale on web-sites of various Auction Houses, Galleries, e-Bay, Tirosh, Kedem, Farkash etc.
