 A surprise find! In the days of COVID19 a 1960s Shamir work for the Kupat Holim of the Histadrut explains the importance of the Vaccination process. It was discovered in an auction at "The Bidder", Gedera. January 2021. Credit to Noi Gera  for his help.

In the Matriculation History exam, conducted on January 6, 2020, a question was asked about the great immigration in the 1950s. As source material, two Shamir brothers posters were presented (without credit). They were produced by the General Workers' Union: "Learn Hebrew" and "From the City to the Village". Thanks to Guy Izakov, grandson of Yoram Shamir who brought this to our attention. January 2020

David Sela, editor of the "70 Years After" section in Israel today, revealed the identity of the woman whose image served as a model for the Shamir brothers in designing a poster for the TB War League. It was poet Rachel (Rachel Blobstein) who died of tuberculosis in 1931 in Degania. The Declaration "For Them and For Us" is intended to encourage tuberculosis vaccine and raise donations for the vaccine operation

Farkash Gallery in Jaffa are offering for sale the metal printed Lindol (extermination of insects) poster designed by Shamir Brothers. Posters printed on metal using the silk screen method provided a higher image quality than posters printed on paper. They were installed on the front of stores selling groceries, vegetables, building materials etc.

 Assis 100% natural orange juice, the 50s. Two symbols of the Land of Israel - The Kova Tembel hat and an orange – were used to promote the flagship product of the Assis factory in Ramat Gan.

 The house, which is used as the focal point in these days of New Year and other festivals reminded Yoram Shamir of a poster designed by his father and uncle of “Studio Shamir” almost 60 years ago. That poster was used to publicise the"Home & Garden Exhibition" held at Beit-Dagon in May-June 1957

This is one of two posters for Nature Reserve Stamp Series (one in 1967 and the other in 1971) that were found in an Auction alert e-mail received by Uri Shamir on 19 July 2013. Neither of these posters were discovered todate by Yoram in his very thorough search for Shamir works.

As part of the promotion of new stamps, the Philatelic service used to publish ads in newspapers and distributed posters across the country. To promote these Independence Day stamps they used the famous Air Force  recruitment slogan. Three works by Shamir Brothers are included within this poster: the stamps, the first-day cover and the poster itself.

 In 1961, the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra commemorated its 25th Anniversary with a series of Jubilee Concert across the country as well as the inauguration of the "Orchestra Square" in front of Heichal Hatarbut (the Tel Aviv Culture centre) and a poster and a postage stamp designed by Shamir Brothers. 50 years later, on its 75^th anniversary the Israeli Orchestra printed a second edition of the original poster and offered it for sale to music lovers.

A poster for the Histadrut, May 1, 1953, designed by the Shamir brothers, is offered for sale by the Farkash Gallery in Jaffa. Price: $ 1900. The Histadrut posters are usually addressed to industrial workers and farmers, but the focus of this poster is agriculture. The industry is hinted at in the background.  March 2021

 Shamir included in the design of this poster previous works by them: the Jerusalem stamp 1949 and the 23rd Zionist Congress stamp 1951.

 The first-ever poster relating to Zim (the arrival of the first ship, "Kadima") in 1947. By invitation of the  Israel Maritime League.

 Every penny for Local products, 1947. The initiative to encourage the consumption of agricultural and industrial products of the Land of Israel began in 1924 with the establishment of the Association for promoting “Made in Israel” products. Trade fairs were the highlight events of this campaign, the best known trade fair being was the East Fair” (Yerid Hamizrach). This campaign poster was to announce the campaign to purchase "Made in Israel" products. It was aimed at the Jewish community – and covered over 2000 stores. The campaign ended on November 21, 1947, eight days before 29 November's the day the UN decided on the creation of two states in Palestine.

 In the fifth month of the War of Independence, the National Council (that preceded the Knesset) decided on a national bond campaign aimed at the needs for the establishment of government services. The accompanying bond certificate was the first of its kind for the state, which was declared a month later. The public response was good, and the target - 5 million pounds - was achieved within three months

 During World War II the British forces needed manpower in various professions - wireless, mechanics, driving, nursing and more. The Jewish Agency, with the help of women's organizations, recruited 3200 women to the ATS (Auxiliary Territorial Service ) and another 800 to the WAAF (Women's Auxiliary Air Force) Corps. The soldiers served in Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, Italy and Austria.  The title of the poster is taken from Isaiah.
